Leaders Walker Central were held at Seaton Delaval.
The Red Devils took an early lead through Michael Fenwick
but Central turned things around with goals from Jack Nicholson and John Robson
(pen). Kevin Westphal headed the leveller.
Red House Farm piled on the pressure but couldn’t find a
leveller as they went down at Ashington Colliers, who lead with goals from
Brett Robertson and Joe Moscrop (pen). Zak Brogden pulled one back but Farm
lost ground in the title race.
Blyth
Town’s Malcolm Morien hit
a hat-trick in their 7-1 victory over Northbank. David Robinson, David
Atkinson, Jason Ritchie and Connor Andrews got the others – Andy Griffiths hit
the consolation.
Andy Robertson struck five times – including two penalties –
in Whitley Bay A’s big win at Wallington. Liam Harris and Chris Bell added the
others with Jake Walton and Dan Thompson the Green’s scorers.
Marc Shiel hit the only goal for Carlisle City
at Hebburn Reyrolle and Percy Main led at Killingworth Station with strikes
from Ryan McKee and Sam Thompson.
Mark Dixon got Station back in it with a 45-yard lob and
Michael Bowman made it all-square from the penalty spot. Dixon headed in the winner at the back post.
Phil Murray (2) and Derek Waters scored for Stocksfield in
their draw with Shankhouse, who replied through an own goal, Lee Gustard and a
Chris Rue penalty. The Griffins almost won it but hit the post late on.
Division One leaders Cramlington Town
left it late as they came from behind to beat Bohemians. Andrew Renton shot the
visitors ahead early on but Jordan Miller levelled in the 76th
minute and Kev Long won it five minutes later.
North Shields Athletic had Scott Jasper, Ryan Bailey,
Anthony Keith, Scott Evans and Anthony Skipsey on target in their convincing
win at Ponteland United and Michael Hutchinson and Scott Robson were Redheugh’s
scorers in their win over Newcastle Uni, who netted courtesy of Joe Watson.
Chris Connor hit Cullercoat’s winner against New Fordley and
Luke Strangeways struck twice in Wooler’s success against Hexham. Jamie Punton
and veteran player manager Barry Guthrie – who’s been hitting the net for over
three decades, chipped in with the other – at the grand age of 48! Stuart
Brown, Thomas North and Gavin Cox were the Tyendaler’s scorers.
Darren Walker’s hat-trick put Blyth Isabella in contention
for the Division Two title as they beat Grainger Park.
Che Aisbitt and Andrew Haigh got the others, with Chrissy
Robinson notching a reply.
John Bone, Kris Allington, Mason Armstrong and Darren Burn
fired in for AFC Newbiggin at High Howdon, who pulled one back though Daniel
Cotton, while Jordan Bolton, Dean Mulholland, Ryan Gibson and Thomas Williams struck
for Gateshead Leam Rangers in a good victory over Wallsend Boys Club.
Mark Anderson, Andy McBride, Keiran Ranson, Stephen Thompson,
Ben Jefferson and Lewis Walker chalked up for Benfield Reserves as they hit
Cramlington United for six and Chris Grant shot Swalwell ahead against Seaton
Burn, with Ryan Spragg grabbing the equalier.
Andy Smith struck twice in Whitburn Athletic’s success
against Alnwick Town Reserves. Levi Collins added the other with Neil McFall
pulling one back.
