Alnwick Town Reserves 0 Seaton Delaval Amateurs 2
Seaton Delaval withstood a late barrage from Alnwick Town Reserves to lift the Bluefin Group Bill Gardner Memorial Trophy.
The Red Devils went ahead in the 9th minute. The Premier Division side must have thought the chance was gone when the Town keeper pulled off a great penalty save but from the resultant corner, Anthony Woodhouse headed in.
Delaval made it two just after the interval when Michael Fenwick tucked in a right wing cross as Town were hit on the break.
The Second Division Black and Whites continued to create chances but were left frustrated as they couldn't hit the back of the net despite all their pressure.
