Malcolm Morien hit a hat-trick for the third successive week
as Blyth Town romped to an 8-1 win at Hebburn
Reyrolle.
Mark Andrews, Connor Andrews, Dan Beresford and Ian Lee got
the others with Jordan Bolton netting a consolation.
Wallsend Town had Paul Gordon and Paul McHutcheon on target in
their win over Killingworth Station, who replied through Lee Hamilton while Sam
Grieveson and Matty Hayton scored for Walker Central in their win at Rutherford, who had levelled through Will Forsyth.
Second Division Wallsend Boys Club sent Seaton Delaval
crashing out of the Archers of Blyth George Dobbins League Cup on penalties.
Man of the match Michael Starkie netted twice for Wallsend, with Andy Potter
and Adam Tierney getting the others. Liam Vaughan, Michael McMullen, Matthew
Bailey and Stephen Howes were on target for Delaval.
First Division Longbenton as pulled off a shock as beat
Percy Main with a goal in each half from David Short and Rob Wood.
Matthew Lavender shot Blyth Isabella ahead at Ashington
Colliers but the black and whites turned things around with goals from Brent
Aisbitt and Ross Gair while Shankhouse were also trailing to a goal from West
Allotment Celtic A’s Ben Jackson, but late strikes from Josh Walsh and Lee
Gustard put the Premier Division side through.
Second half goals from Justin Millican and Jake Walton saw
Wallington past High Howdon while doubles from Tom Phillips and Theo Bondswell
helped Red House Farm to a 6-0 success against Wideopen.
The big Carlisle derby was
settled by a goal from Northbank’s Stuart Bell to send rivals City crashing out
while Kane White (2), Phil Murray and Ben Dibb-Fuller netted for Stocksfield at
Cramlington United.
Damien Stevens netted a treble in Birtley Saint Joseph’s
victory over Newbiggin. Chris Morris got the other with Richie Kennedy and Ross
Muter giving the Seasiders hope with a quick-fire double.
Gareth Pugh also hit a hat-trick in Willington Quay Saints win
at Grainger Park. John Foggett added to the tally
and Max Zaborovs bagged a brace for North Shields Athletic as they advanced at
the expense of Swalwell. John Wyres, Scott Jasper, Liam Climpson and Chris
Chang got the others, with James Bowman striking a double in reply.
Lee Waugh was another double ace for New Fordley in their
win over Cullercoats. Zak Tully and Craig Dunn got the others, Jonathon Ranson
and Stphen Moat replying.
Jay Dieu Lomana hit two for Newcastle Chemfica at Whitburn,
who struck back through Adam Bravey.
Wooler went second in Division Two as they hit five at
Gosforth Bohs. Mark Forrest, Stephen Hutchinson, Michael Saunders, Luke
Strangeways and Kevin Bell all found the target with Darren Campbell (2) and Chris
Toye scoring at the other end in an exciting game. Bedlington Terriers Reserves
also hit five at Ponteland. Jon-James Eke, Andy Mogwo, Calum Donohoe (2) and Simon
Scobie piled on the misery for Ponteland United, who had Craig Cook grab a
consolation.
First half goals from Hexham’s Gavin Cox, Liam Heenan and
Stuart Brown looked to have put them on easy street against Heddon, but the
hosts produced an amazing turnaround to claim their first points of the season
with a Kyle Fradgley hat-trick and a last minute winner from Andrew Davidson.
Andy May, Liam Hendrum and Kevin Hay scored for Redheugh in
their win at the Uni.
Chopwell are the new leaders in Division Two as Derek Waters
netted twice against Alnwick Town Reserves. John Meadows tapped in the other
from close range.
Newcastle Benfield Reserves’ Chris Thompson claimed a
hat-trick in a thrilling win over Seaton Burn. Steve Thompson and Andy McBride
grabbed the others with Dave Hewitt and Andrew Bennett scoring at the other
end.
